so, we usually get to kindermusik quite early because the teacher usually puts the big drum out for the children to gather around as they arrive. and jack loves the big drum.
today i was talking to the teacher and turned around to find Jack on top of the drum, happy as could be with himself. the drum is only the third thing he has tried to climb, as climbing was not a part of his repertoire until this morning when it suddenly became so.
he jammed on the drum for a good five minutes with a huge smile on his face and held on to his perch there until it was time to put the drum up.
